Our main centre is in
Ranelegh where we offer a wide variety of classes to all age groups. We
also run our Summer Musical Theatre Course here during July. Our facilities
here include a drama studio, dance studio and speech training and solo
singing room and large private carpark area for working outside during
the summer (especially handy for scenery painting!) allowing us great
flexibility with our busy timetable.
All Junior, Inter, Senior
and young adult age groups have a 1 hour creative drama class and 1 hour
dance class. They then have the option of adding extra tuition in Singing,
Speech Training, Jazz Dance and Musical Theatre. These are timetabled
as far as possible to compliment their theatre school times.

Drumcondra
The Drumcondra classes of The Independent
Theatre Workshop Theatre School and Agency are now in full swing on Saturday
afternoons and are thrilled to announce further new classes starting on
January 10th.
We offer Creative Drama and Dance classes for all ages and abilities from
tots to teens. All Junior, Inter, Senior and Young Adult classes have
a 1 hour Creative Drama class and a 1 hour Dance class.
The new Tots class from 10-11am will cover a wide range of music, dance
and drama styles, introducing 5-6 year olds to the basics of the performing
arts. The children have a ˝ hour dance class covering all kinds of music
and songs from pop to Letterland and a ˝ hour creative drama class, geared
specifically to their own age and ability.
Speech Training will also be starting 1-2pm (other times available on
application.)
This class is made up of small groups of students to ensure maximum individual
attention. The focus is on speaking poetry and prose, performance of short
solo drama extracts, reading skills, projection, clear articulation and
building confidence. Students are prepared for, and can take,
The Leinster School of Music and Drama Exams.
Singing Both individual and small group lessons are now available for
all ages.
Terms and Fees
The Spring Term for Tots, Juniors, Inters, Seniors and Young Adults starts
on January 10th 2004 Next term will be an 8 week term Cost: Dance and
Drama (2 hrs per week) €125
Tots fees Dance and Drama (1 Hour per week) €65
The Easter term will start on March 6th 2004
Summer School will take place at the end of June details to be confirmed.

to our Drumcondra boys - Finnegus Duffy, Edgardo Duffy, Andrew O’Flaherty,
Hughie Daly, Gavan Daly, Daniel Cummins and Andrew Linn who will be performing
in Oliver at the Tivoli, Daniel Byrne who is in The King and
I at the National Concert Hall and Colin Middleton who is James in
The Snowman at the SFX over Christmas.
